CPMS tender and backend strategy for a charging network

The challenge

ON's charging network had grown fast and the question was whether the existing backend could support further growth and new services. The backend affects customer experience, payments, charger uptime, roaming and every new feature. The wrong choice could hold the network back for years, and switching gets harder as the network grows.
